About Dean Phillips

Dean was born in Smithfield, NC, and made his first trip to Topsail Island as a 3-month-old in 1955. He has been enjoying Topsail ever since. Dean's childhood summers were spent exploring the sounds, creeks, and waterways around Topsail Island, and it was at a young age that he developed a passion for saltwater fishing, which continues to be his favorite pastime today. Dean is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and has over 20 years of experience in the Real Estate business as a developer, builder, Broker, and buyer/seller of timberlands. Dean has also developed and built a number of homes in the Topsail Island real estate market. Dean has the unique perspective of seeing Topsail Island real estate through the eyes of a vacationer, a 2nd home owner, a developer, and as a full-time resident. His passion for real estate and industry knowledge is second to none, and comes as a great value to his clients. Dean spends his free time indulging his love of saltwater fishing. From the laid-back atmosphere of Topsail surf fishing to the offshore ventures of Gulfstream sportfish, Dean spends every spare moment enjoying the vast, year-round fishing opportunities that Topsail Island offers.
